Ways to Donate
All hospice care is provided free of charge, but it is not cost free – just to maintain our current services costs around £2 million a year, of which the hospice has to raise £1.8 million. We rely heavily on the generosity, support and goodwill of the public to maintain our services. Any money that you donate will go directly towards supporting the hospice in providing medical and nursing care for local people suffering from serious progressive illnesses. If you wish to support our vital work, all donations will be gratefully received.

If you are a UK tax payer, we can also reclaim the tax on your donation at no extra cost through the Giftaid scheme. If you would like to make a donation, we would appreciate it if you could take a moment to fill out a Giftaid form and then post it to us.

• Giving in Memory
Donating to St. Mary's Hospice in memory of a loved one can play a beneficial part in many people's bereavement processe. It enables relatives, friends and colleagues to contribute to the hospice, bringing a positive experience at a difficult time.

As part of our fundraising strategy we have recently launched a Corporate Membership Scheme in an attempt to secure business support. Local businesses have the opportunity to support St Mary's Hospice by becoming patrons.
