Superdraw

This year the St. Mary's Hospice lottery will have been raising much needed funds for 10 years and so far it has raised in excess of £1.5 million.

To mark the 10th anniversary of the lottery we ran the first of our two Anniversary Superdraws on the 25th April 2008. The first draw raised £17023 which was a wonderful achievement.

Throughout July and August, staff at St. Mary's will be promoting the second draw which will take place on 5th September. Tickets will be available from St. Mary's Hospice, Lesser Kings Hall and our charity shops from early July. So please spread the word, you never know it could be you!

Tour De Furness Charity Cycle Event
Sunday 7th September 2008

The 'Tour De Furness' charity cycle event is organised by the Rotary Club of Furness to raise money for St. Mary's Hospice and other local charities. The idea of the event is to get cyclists of all abilities joining in to have fun and raise much needed funds. There are a choice of 3 routes, from 5 to 50 miles to test your physical fitness, but remember, 'this is not a race!'

Light up a Life

Sunday 7th December

Light up a Life is the opportunity to remember and honour significant people in our lives. In return for a donation, a light will be placed on the Hospice tree. The lights shine as a celebration of the life of someone who has been dear to us.
